8 years ago last week, I started working out regularly and tracking food with MyFitnessPal.
I even got an anniversary email from MFP!
Though at first, it was mostly cardio and eventually an eating disorder, it sparked the start of something amazing and over the years I’ve learned to incorporate it in to my life as a healthy habit rather than something I need to do to look a certain way.
Now, when someone asks me how I’m doing, I will say this:
I’m up and down. I’m exhausted. Or I’ll be brutally honest and say that today is a bad day. Hell, sometimes I even reserve the right not to answer the question at all.
But, I’ve got it figured out. The trick? THERE IS NO TRICK.
