8 Years in the Making

8 years ago last week, I started working out regularly and tracking food with MyFitnessPal.

I even got an anniversary email from MFP!

Though at first, it was mostly cardio and eventually an eating disorder, it sparked the start of something amazing and over the years I’ve learned to incorporate it in to my life as a healthy habit rather than something I need to do to look a certain way.

These days, my fitness and healthier eating play an important role in my self care more than anything else.

My fitness of choice these days? CrossFit!

And how did that happen?

Proximity of the gym to my workplace, knowledgeable and kind teachers, plus a fantastic community. Shoutout to CrossFit Wonderland!

My food of choice? I try to eat well about 80% of the time. I meal prep almost every week and absolutely indulge on the regular.

Moral of the story?
