Give thanks.

What are you thankful for? This time of year is a reminder to appreciate all that we have and all that we have had. Fall is also a time for fresh starts, a rebirth if you will - it's the time of the harvests and a time of change in weather and nature.

Look around you.

Really look.

...

Look at your life.

Are you happy?

If not, what steps can you take to get yourself there?

A major factor in creating happiness - yes, we create our own happiness - is gratitude.

I am grateful for:

FAMILY: even though at times they drive me crazy

FRIENDS: the ones that have stuck by my side through all the shit

CLIENTS: they keep me motivated

I am also grateful that I can walk. That I can see. That I have the ability to express myself in many ways.

We often take for granted the little things that we do each day. Most of us can walk, exercise, get dressed, eat, even breathe on our own. Some people can't. It's only when these abilities are taken away that we realize how important they are and that we take them for granted.

Be grateful for everything - big or small or teeny tiny - that you are blessed with in your life. Even the things that you consider "bad" because they really do make you appreciate the "good" that much more!

I know I talk about this a lot but life is truly too short. Shorter for some than others, but the funny thing is - you don't know it until it's too late and that life is gone. So, make the most of every day that you have on this planet. Express gratitude for all the wonderful blessings in your life. Tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and spend time with everyone.

Call your parents. Go on that trip you've been talking about for ages. Treat your body like the temple that it is. LIVE YOUR LIFE.

Happy Thanksgiving!
