Competition prep and personal training
The competition is getting closer and this prep is getting harder. I’m being honest – this isn’t easy. I know that many people quit, even at this point. I won’t be one of those people. I can do this. I will do this. I was talking to my coach and realized something – even though I know that doing this makes many people proud of me, I am doing this to make ME proud of me.
24.. 24 more days. I can do this. I will do this.
Every day I repeat this to myself (obviously the number goes down) and remind myself that I am capable of anything I set my mind to. Keep reading for a progress photo and news about my personal training services!

Progress at 25 days out
I do believe that in doing so I am setting an example for the clients that I train. I have heard from each of them (and several friends!) that my determination inspires them. But, you know what? The opposite is also true – each of them inspires me. They inspire me to keep pushing forward. Not to give up. To see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Take a look at this client – I started with her back at the beginning of April. We trained almost every weekend until the beginning of June. After a break we started up 4 weeks ago and this is her end result. Unfortunately we didn’t take before pictures but how incredible does she look? I am beyond proud of this amazing lady!!

Client results
As for the others, they make me just as proud each time we work together, each time they check in with their progress, each time they ask a question. As busy as I am and as little free time as I have – I wouldn’t change it for anything. I love the feeling of helping others reach their goals and learn to feel better about themselves.
I don’t just teach my clients how to exercise, I try to show them that being active and taking care of your body are integral parts of living an enjoyable life. Without health and happiness, what kind of life are we living? I place little importance on the numbers on the scale, more so on how they feel, how their clothes fit and the physical feats they are able to accomplish. How easily can you go up a flight of stairs now? Could you pick up your big bag without trouble? When you went shopping were you able to try on more items with less stress? Did you love yourself today?

So, even though my current goal is tied to my size and aesthetic, I don’t let that stray me from my training style. If you want to train just to lose weight, that’s cool too. Just don’t become consumed by that number!!

If you are looking to train, I have one spot opening up in October. If you are truly serious about getting started and I no longer have space – I have several trainers here in Montreal to recommend that are equally talented if not more talented than me. (Not afraid to admit it!)
Have a great day, Mitzfits!
