Went to a bootcamp class this evening (of course!) and am sufficiently worked out. I have a feeling I will be extremely sore by the end of the workday tomorrow. That will be just in time for another class!
The Workout Of The Day (WOD for those familiar) was weight-filled and challenging.
Every class starts out with a warm up.
2 rounds of:
400 m run (2 laps around the parking lot of the location I attend)
10 pull ups, 10 push ups, 10 sit ups, 10 squats
Today's WOD was:
As many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of -
21 Sumo Deadlift High Pulls, 7 Thrusters, 10 Ball Slams
If you want to know what any of these moves are you can search for videos on youtube from Siscoe Gym. They will definitely have examples.
I was able to complete 5 rounds of the above sequence using 35lbs for the SDHP and thrusters and 10lbs for the ball slams. WHAT A WORKOUT!!! You should all try it and see how you do.
Thank goodness I have a relaxing evening planned with a friend.... Watching Mean Girls! Plus, I made sure to get a healthy snack in case we want something to munch on.. Lentil chips and chummus :)
