What I've been eating

My good friend, Kim, from Kim's Health and Wellness Studio in Ottawa is the one that made my meal plan. She did so alongside her FlexSquad (website launching in 2 weeks!) partner, DJ, who created my workout plan. Together they are helping me get in to amazing shape for my first ever bikini competition in approximately 20 weeks!

Wondering what I've been eating on the meal plan that I am currently following? (not to be confused with the one I will be following later in the summer)

This Sunday marked the start of my 8th week and I can honestly say that I haven't had any boring/bland meals. Everything has been delicious and filling.

I have been properly fuelled for my workouts and have not felt weak or drained. (Definitely felt tired here and there but not meal plan or workout plan related LOL)

I will definitely keep you all up to date once the real competition prep starts... but until then - enjoy these examples and let me know what else you'd like to see from my journey to the competition stage!

I meal prep for my days at work, my weekends, the times I need to study, the times I am at someones house - there is no excuse to eat off plan if you are prepared! Here are two examples of my study sessions - I always bring my food. I have even eaten my meals inside a coffee shop :)

Ground chicken, brown rice, cherry tomatoes and a Starbucks coffee on ice!

Ground turkey, steamed broccoli, crumbled walnuts and a Starbucks coffee on ice!
